RoboConnect

SOLIDPoint® interface for pneumatic robot adaption

RoboConnect was developed by HWR and enables the use of the proven SOLIDPoint® zero-point technology in automated processes. What makes it special is that no medium needs to be guided through the center of the table to operate the zero-point technology. Instead, the medium can simply be transferred via the robot using RoboConnect. Thanks to the innovative interface, the zero-point technology remains open when the clamping device is lifted, even if the connection between the connector and the zero-point plate is disconnected. Of course, the familiar properties such as maximum pull-down forces and repeatability when clamping remain unchanged.

• Automation without medium at the table: SOLIDPoint® is ideal for automating machines, even if no medium is available at the table.
• Flexibility through robot connection: The medium for actuation can be conveniently brought along via a robot, which considerably increases flexibility and application possibilities.
• Manual operation: SOLIDPoint® is also suitable for manual operation, making it versatile for use in different production environments.
